Proximate Education courses for 2004-05

NALSAR Proximate Education (NALSAR Pro) offers Post Graduate Diploma courses at various centres all over India. NALSAR Pro imparts professional legal education using web technology and direct contact programmes at various centres.

Enrolled candidates can submit the projects online, take their exams at centres and will be backed by regular updates of course materials through printed material, CDs and Web updates.

Direct contact programmes will be held at the identified centres by Professors of NALSAR University of Law and subject specialists.

A candidate for admission to the above courses shall have passed a bachelor's degree of any recognised university or an equivalent qualification as approved by the Proximate Education Committee of Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad.

Number of seats are limited and admissions will be made on first come first serve basis. The University reserves the right of admission on criteria of merit/experience and professional qualifications in case of competition to the available seats.

Candidates intending to enroll for admission can receive the application form & handbook on request to the Coordinator, NALSAR Proximate Education, 3-4-761, Barkatpura, Hyderabad-500 027 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- on the name of Registrar, NALSAR Proximate Education, payable at Hyderabad. Foreign students to sent US$25 as Demand Draft.

Admissions are open from June 1, 2004 and the Last day for submission of application is on or before August 15, 2004. In exceptional cases the Director may permit admission till 15th September, 2004 on payment of a late fee of Rs. 1000/-.

The contact classes and examination will be held at the Centres of Hyderabad, Banglore, Mumbai, and Delhi. Based on minimum enrollment numbers the University may conduct contact classes at the centres of Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. However, the University reserves right and discretion to exclude any of the above centre and the same will be intimated to candidates prior to admission.

Nalsar (National Academy of Legal Studies and Research) University of Law, established under the Andhra Pradesh Act 34 of 1998, is a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal. It is a fully residential university engaged in teaching and promoting research in law and allied disciplines.
