Eligibility and Admission Procedures

Admission to the First Year of the 5-year B.A., B.L. (Hons.) Degree Programme is made strictly on merit on the basis of an All India Entrance Test.

To be eligible for admission, a candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent recognised by the University, having secured 50 percent marks and be less than 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2003 (22 years in case of SC/ST candidates).

Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the test on condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the interview. Students who are unable to clear the qualifying examination with the requisite marks or obtained a pass in compartment will not be considered. Only those candidates who secure the minimum prescribed marks at the Entrance Test will qualify for inclusion in the Merit.
