Intake and Reservation



  • The number of students to be admitted on the basis of entrance test shall be SIXTY with the following reservations:  

Scheduled Caste 15% (9 seats)
Scheduled Tribe 7 ½% (4 seats)
Women 30% (18 seats Horizontal)
Foreign Nationals, NRI and Donor 20 seats
  • The unfilled seats reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates shall be assigned to Scheduled Tribe candidates and vice-versa. If sufficient eligible SC and ST candidates are not available to fill such seats, they shall be reallocated to the General candidates in the same order of merit.

  • The University reserves the right to keep seats vacant if there are no candidates securing minimum prescribed qualifying marks at the Entrance Test.

DIRECT ADMISSION

  • The admission of Foreign nationals shall be made on the basis of prescribed academic qualification and an interview. If there are any vacancies these will be filled by the General candidates in the same order of merit.

Applications for admission to these seats can be made only after declaration of the eligibility exam result. List of the admitted candidates under this category shall be put up at the University Premises by 15th June 2003.
